Now, she’s settled into her routine and feels happier and more energetic than before.
How Sucy found empowerment
When my health assessment came back with mixed results, I learned I wasn’t in as great of health as I thought I was. I decided that if I really wanted to enjoy my life and feel better, I needed to take action and do something about it. I decided to sit down and come up with a plan.
Interactive Health had some great resources that I used to guide myself towards a healthier lifestyle. I started by cutting back on my carbohydrates, which improved my blood sugar. I also began walking 20 minutes on my treadmill every day, which has since become a key part of my daily routine.
Along with being more active, I’ve learned a lot about the importance of getting the necessary vitamins as well as adhering to my medication. I make a point to take my vitamins every day – B12, B3, B Complex, calcium, and a daily multivitamin alongside by blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol medications. In the past I was always tired, but since implementing my new healthy plan I feel much happier and more energetic. Planning ahead and staying on a schedule has played a huge part in my success.
