When Sharon, a Licensed Practical Nurse at Regional West Physicians Clinic, was notified that her health needed immediate attention, she made an appointment with her doctor. After being referred to a specialist, she was diagnosed with NASH disease (nonalcoholic fatty liver disease). After seeking coaching help from Interactive Health, Sharon has been able to improve her condition, lose weight, and have more energy to put towards her favorite activities.
After participating in my health evaluation screening, I learned that my health required much needed attention and immediate improvement. My big problem areas were my liver, my blood sugar, and my cholesterol.
After being made aware of my risk factors, I immediately visited my Primary Care Provider who then put me in touch with a Gastrointestinal Doctor. Together, we made a game plan for a liver biopsy. Soon after, my diagnosis came back as NASH disease. From that point onward, I worked with the great health coaches at Interactive Health to organize a weight loss program for myself and set my goals in motion.
I was committed to following their recommendations, and I have already seen and felt improvement in my health. It’s amazing how, if you commit to making changes, your health and lab values can improve. I have always had high energy levels, but losing weight and improving on my daily life habits has made all the activities I enjoy much easier to do. I still have a ways to go, but there’s no stopping me now with all the great help I receive from Interactive Health.
