How Jill set herself up for success
After my initial health evaluation, I learned that my lipid panel levels were a bit elevated. I knew I wanted to make change in my health, so I set up an appointment with a health coach. I’ve been working with her for the past 6 months now and the results have been profound.
I have lost 25 pounds in the last 6 months by primarily changing my eating habits. My health coach has helped me choose healthy snack and meal options not just for myself but for my family as well. I’ve learned useful tips like how to meal plan to avoid eating unhealthily – I now pre-package salads so I can have easy meals in the week ahead. My coach has taught me how to set attainable goals and has provided immeasurable support along the way. After refocusing on what I eat, I have more energy than I used to and feel better overall.
Through this process, I have learned that what I eat is incredibly important to my health and weight-loss goals. I will be doing another blood draw next month to see if my lipid levels have dropped, but I’m feeling more confident than ever with my body and my choices regarding what food I eat.
