Jim Banks founded the company in his garage in 1992. That year, he drove a single van carrying the team to six clients, where they performed 1,500 onsite health evaluations in an effort to find a better way to help companies control their healthcare spend. The company had one computer and one copier that made just 20 copies before it had to cool down.
In the ensuing years, Interactive Health has evolved into a full-service workplace wellness provider that addresses an employee’s total well-being—with robust online tools, health coaching, more than 3,000 clients and more than 1 million participants annually.
We believe organizations excel—economically and culturally—when they invest in their employees’ health. And we see our job as partnering with clients to build robust custom solutions, and then sharing our data so clients can see how we’ve driven improvements and solved for rising healthcare costs.
